Yeap, we'll be there on the 18th for the Wally race. Time for some of my brothers signature crab legs and some shrimp boil with corn and potatoes- whooooooooooooooo eeee!!! Going to check out Bills new dental work and his tolerance for spicy foods. Big Jim can be our food tester/taster since we can't get him to race yet. Might throw some barn yard pimp on the grill if we can get Gladys' brother to hook us up.

Could you give us some stats on the bike?
Carb type.
Exhaust type cam? CC's
Clutch?

Also Ken at Cycle-x is working on building a drag bike also.
Will his be faster than that one?

LAST WEEKEND: =  625HP, 130-140MPH, 24 DEGREES BANKING, CHEVY-MATIC, 4 SLICK WHEELS, 1.5 MILE TRACK, SITTING IN A SEAT W/5 POINT SEAT BELTS, 8 LAPS IN A K&N SERIES RACE CAR, CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY, COST $ 500 plus room, food, gas = RICHARD PETTY DRIVING SCHOOL, Christmas present from my girl friend, GREAT DAY TO BE ALIVE.
THIS WEEKEND: = ME and the "TURTLE "  back to the 1320' for three days of  26HP, 77MPH, 17.11 SECONDS, SITTING ON A SEAT, NO BELTS, an a big smile at the end of a .001 reaction time !!!! I HOPE................. FUN TO DRIVE A NASCAR BUT MY HEART AND HEAD IS DRAG RACING MOTORCYCLES.  Win or Lose a day at the track on two wheels slow or fast is a sport that you control with your RIGHT & LEFT HAND and A GOOD EYE . REALLY: That K&N race car was like driving a "HONDAMATIC" SHIFT INTO 4 GEAR [ turn #2 ] and push on the gas pedal for those 8 laps. A MUST DO FOR A "BUCKETLIST"........

Wow Richard, what a present 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
Coming back down to earth and riding the Turtle reminds me of the ride through the sound barrier in Thrust SSC with my nephew Wing Commander Andy Green OBE and then having to get into my Fiat Panda (50bhp 92mph) for the drive home. ::)

SAM: Got to turn her TV off on SUNDAYS ! WHY: MY girlfriend watched the INDY BRICKYARD 400 Sunday and this is what she said after that race " CHRISTMAS 2012 Santa's bringing you the  RICHARD PETTY DRIVING EXPERIENCE  at DAYTONA on the 2.5 mile 31 degree banking track for 50 laps while receiving instruction from you crew chief over the radio while driving in lead/follow, side by side tandem and passing driving sessions. Also starts with a 3-lap-Ride-Along, in car video of driving experience.  4 hours long !!!!!"  She tried to get this at INDY but she felt this flat track with little 9-12 degrees banking would not compare with Charlotte 24 degrees turns. I called the PETTY SCHOOL driver we met a week ago and asked him about the  MPH at Daytona  ?????? His ANSWER  "  HANDS 10-4 ON THE WHEEL, AFTER 4th. GEAR SHIFT ON BACK SIDE OF TRACK 1ST. LAP = PUSH GAS PEDAL TO THE FLOOR ,TURN LEFT NEXT CORNERS. I asked again about MPH = HIS ANSWER, AIN'T NO SPEEDOMETER in a STOCK CAR, JUST CATCH ME.

ONLY CHILD !!!!  Cost for this what's NEXT TO DO = $50 A LAP. or $2500.  She has always been good at investing her funds , never on a DRAGBIKE [ MONEY PIT ] that when you win the event  = you go home even or less cash then when you started.   RIGHT RACERS ???????  YOU-ALL KNOW THIS GAME WE ARE HOOKED ON.
