Mike,
5/8" bore. I also have tried the 1/2" one which had a better lever feel but lower line pressure. Kept the 5/8" one. That's about an 8 year old memory there. Bill can measure it.

Scotty is right.

Don't trust my old memory.

I tried 5/8" bore and 1/2" bore. The 5/8" should have given the better feel, the 1/2" bore the higher pressure. I kept the one with the higher pressure. Haven't played with it for 8 years. What Bill has just plain worked on a bigger motor Hondamatic.

That's why I suggested that Bill measure the bore size instead of trusting my memory.

There aren't a lot of bore sizes available to play with. Stock rear master cylinders on bikes are designed not to lock up the rear wheel, just slow it down. That's why you have to go to the aftermarket to get the parts to lock up a rear tire. The problem is compounded by needing it to be held using cold pads. High performance pads aren't designed for cold brake performance. I got the base pads that were the "softest" compound from Performance Machine. The system has very low useage.

Aw shucks! ;D ;D Maybe this time we're going to get it!! I think we just might! 8) It seems to be coming together for one heck of a weekend!! ::) ;D Bill................Oh yeh,Thanks,Bill
Just checked and going into the Big Event ,Sam Green ranked 169 out of 211 riders,me 131st. I don't think we're going to win the championship!!! ;) :o Bill

Billy, the rankings are a load of bollocks, had I raced on the Sunday we would be level.
Even Jeramy Teasley is between us ranked 162nd ;D ;D ;D
Richad (POPS) is ranked 43rd but in reality is joint 35th.
Had I done the Sunday race and we both went to Indy, providing nothing changed and we both went out in the first round we would be joint 57th. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Had I entered Samauto in Top Fuel and did both rounds and going out first round, I would have still been ranked #12 ;D ;D ;D
Like I said, ranking is a load of bollocks ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Alright, i just checked my points and for the first time since i started racing, i'm ranked last in one class- lol. 64th of 64 in Crazy 8's. I never made the call for sunday eliminations due to electrical issues so those points must be from my one and only qualifying pass. And i'm ranked 120th out of 146 in Pro ET, yuck. I knew i should have entered the sunday race.

Actually it's the other way around scotty.  Brake fluid doesn't compress, just moves.  Bigger M/C piston moves more fluid, which creates more pressure at the caliper.  First hand experience with the sidecar.  1/2" M/C - minimal chair brake, iffy front, lever almost to the bar, with 5/8" M/C adjustable chair brake, strong front, two fingers.

SAM GREEN MATIC:  FIRST ROUND =    Race J.TEASLEY [ HOMEGROWN OHIO BOY ]  like J.WEEKS said and you will get to leave first !!!!! DO-NOT look back or lift as he will be coming after you at 6 seconds and 200++++ MPH pass on Ronnie Mitchells bad ass BUSA............. I can see it now you at 12 sec. and 120+ MPH and him JT. coming around you at the 12" mark for a break out will bring a smile to your face and a ROAR from the crowd in the stands. Again the turtle can beat the hare, it's up to you and the HONDAMATIC on the 1320'. Many smiles on my own face riding back the return road with the win ticket in my hand from a HARE and TURTLE race ..................   going round slowly = but deadly.POPS BK911
