Billy, while you were rained off all was not lost. The UK arm of the team started off the season at the Straightliners championship opener at Santa Pod.
Newcomer to the team Lewis Burgess stunned everyone in the 10.1 bracket with a near perfect 10.14 qualifying run to give him the number one spot and maximum points.
He was then gifted the semi when his opponent didn't show.
In the final, he was up against a Bussa but he kept his calm and pulled a hole shot over the bigger bike.
At the line, the Bussa was just in front and all that we could wish for was for him to break out.
He gave us our wish and the 750 Gixer posted another 10.1 pass to take the championship lead after the first round.
Congrats Lewis Burgess.

Just kidding, April Fools! Lets see if we can do so good! Wow! Finished the smoothbores yesterday. First kick, she cranked! Not like the stockers, love those fuel enrich enricheners on a high comp old 750! Rode it around the block, felt really good! Never put a set on that worked so well rt off. K. Jerry, you need to take it for a spin!

How much those long distance dial in's costing you?

It's not all fun for the kid, he's had to go back to work slogging his guts out earn a crust and pay for his racing.
Just when he was looking forward to the weekend, this turned up and the Friday feeling turned to Monday morning.

They all look like GSXR 1100 Slabies, first one is the 1170, the other two the 1200s.
