Jerry, he's been building a 836 auto rat bike as he calls it. Has batcave parts in it! ;D
His 10 second auto is a 1080c with a 900F crank, Hyvo chain etc ;D

Keeping my fingers crossed about making this one. Saturday for sure, Sunday uncertain. Still dealing with custody battle for the grandchild. Pray for her please. We just want what's best for her and hope the good Master feels we're worthy.

Hate to miss this. Commerce in July instead.

Jon, who is running high 12's? It ain't Sam or Bill and I thought your bike was a 10 second bike.

Jerry, Jon's 10 second bike is not Street ET eligible, he wants to race with us.

Sorry you're not going to make this one, see ya in Commerce.

Just a '78 with 811cc using CBX pistons (horizontal gas ports), bat cave rods, Ebay ported head, 295 cam with adj. sprocket, new cam chain, new fibers and steels in the clutches, cycle X cam chain tensioner, good reworked converter, 15/45 sprockets, rear disk with dual caliper, line lock, MSD MC-1, Dyna 3 ohm coils, quarter turn throttle, 34 mm Mikuni CV carbs (reracked), and whatever I can find for an external oil cooler. Did I mention the heater in the oil pan? Just a rat bike  ;)

Any other questions?

To race in Street ET - Dot tires not my 7" slick on the rear or the front slick. Need headlight, tail lights. I've got a battery led for a tail light. No headlight in fairing. My wheelie bar isn't allowed. (yes it does a little wheelie down track) I currently don't have the cable retention system for my megaphone end of the exhaust system as NHRA requires. I'm also currently missing a rear brake that I gave to Sam since it was marginal at holding 100 horses on the starting line without creeping at 6,000 rpm. The dual calipers and new master cylinder will be in the $800 + range from Performance Machine. I'm also going into the 1180 cc motor for a little more power and to freshen up the clutch pack. For the dollars that I'd spend to make it Street ET legal, it would be cheaper to build my rat bike. The bike helps to prove a point. We'll see how many rounds Frank, Bill, and I go. Improving your driving and you win more rounds. It doesn't cost $$ to do that. Chasing a 10 second or 11 second time slip won't make you a better racer. It may make you a better engine builder or brake setup person, but I simply prefer win lights.
I've never published a picture of the drag bike. Sam has seen a shot of it in the pits of my local track. I'll eventually get a picture up of it after the painting is finished on the fiberglass one piece body. I've still got more projects than $$ or common sense should allow. ::)

Bill/Jon/Sam,

I'll have my loose change rolled up and cashed in by June for our $5 "most rounds won" SOHC challenge for saturdays race. Can't enter beyond that one day right now. This is going to be lots of fun guys. Looking forward to it for certain.

After my last trip, I got home with just a few $1 bills in my wallet.
I did however have a few coins in my pocket and when I added them to all the ones I had been bringing home over the years, they totaled $8.36 cents, anyone want to raise the stakes?  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
