Calm down boys. You are still in test and tune mod. Each time out will likely give you new and varying data so don't get discouraged. Lots of time, swaet and tears have been spent tweaking this baby with new parts, different parts, repaired original parts and all of these pieces and changes will eventually net consistent results. This bike was not originally designed in Japan to be an ATM so keep putting the collective International ingenuity together and you will be able to "dial er in" and reap the rewards. Heck, i'm still striving for consistency in all of the bikes we run(umm, some of it could be rider error-lol)

I'm excited to see how it acts!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes my friend, we made that 2 hour trip and waited around for 3 hours before he called it off. Its been my experience that Steve can squeeze a day long race into 8 hours if he has too. Since i'm sitting in 4th place in the 5.60 index with 4 points seperating me from the 1st place guy and 3rd place in the top sportsman class, i didn't want to take a chance that he would run the race this weekend. I missed one race already that simply by showing up i would now be in 2nd place in T/S instead of 3rd. Unfortunately for me, we will not be making the race on Labor Day weekend because we have a points race at ORangeburg Dragway and we've got a trackside cookout planned with family and friends. So... if you guys don't plan to make the Rock race on September 3-4, you are now officially invited to the cookout at Orangeburg with us along with a chance to compete in the bracket race.  Looking forward to seeing you guys in Greer in a few weeks.

Pretty much want to stick with the 77/78 carbs. Do you have a decent set we can negotiate on??

Give me a call when you can. I think you still have the ##. If not, its 803-491-8342.

Thanks.

Its looking like it could go above SC to the NC coast right now. Sometimes hard to predict what mother nature will do. Lets keep our fingers crossed that no one is adversely affected by this storm from this point forward no matter where they might be. That dang eartquake yesterday was enough for us on the east coast- and yes, we did feel something here in SC.

Some government buildings and monuments in Washington damaged. Washington Monument is cracked and closed now. School buildings are closed until further structural assessments can be done. I think the epi-center was in Virginia- i forgot the exact location. Google it- lots of damage for an earthquake in the low 5's. Buildings on the east coast aren't built to withstand quakes and most don't have homeowners insurance to cover this natural disaster because its such an uncommon occurance for us on the right coast. Now on the left coast they are used to the shake, rattle and roll-lol.

It's sad when people don't have insurance for these unexpected things.
I remember the chaos after Katrina. I was in Pascagoula two years later (the week after I met you) and there were wrecked homes everywhere. Although people had hurricane insurance, the insurance companies wouldn't pay out because most of the damage was caused by floods...it was the f....ing hurricane that caused the floods >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(  hope you all stay safe through this next one and good luck for the races on Friday.

My parents live less than 3 hours from the center of the earthquake and they didn't feel a thing
My aunt lives east of where it was (Roanoke) and plates rattled off the kitchen table
very strange
