I'd be happy to slap a sticker on my forehead if I could even cover my fuel. ;D

Cheers,

It don't work like that Brian. You buy the fuel and stick their sticker on the bike. If you win or place, they pay out.

I think the total prize/contingency for this series in 2011 added up to close on half a million US dollars.

Cover your fuel? Sam flys about 8 hours each way. That wouldn't cover his liquor bill ONE way!  ::)

It did go 10's. I believe now owned by a bike shop in the south as a part of their collection. Way back when I was getting serious with mine, a local bike parts shop heard of it though the grapevine. I have the best ET from RC somewhere in an article. A guy in Texas who has my phone number has the quickest modern ET's on a gas Hondamatic in the 10.7's. He does his with a lot of compression, not huge displacement.  It's not consistent. Haven't heard from him in a couple of years.

Yeah, but, most of them are old and ugly......  The odds with the lottery might be better. They usually outlive you by nagging you to your death.

Pops,
The nearest 1/4 track is about 3 hours away from me. I normally run 1/8th mile. When the big Hondamatic runs, I'll have videos made. It's not a priority for me currently. Finances control when and what I race, just like Sam. Have some patience.

SAM: You do-not marry that rich widow = then she will have to give up her late husbands widows retirment checks, I know this for a fact as my girlfriend [  dial in the numbers lady ] have done that for the past 5 years !!!!!  In 2008 she lost $238 thousand in a year about half of her investment package, now a dayz she earned it all back and more ..........  that KAWAMATIC  KZ-J-1000 is like riding a big mini bike, just launch, put toe under the shift lever and shift  [ W/ no-clutch action ]  3-4  more times than the ATM, will screw the carbs down to run 10.00 ET.  They keep saying you will go in the 10's = WHITE KNIGHT on long bike 68", slammed 2" off ground, 1 piece body, 2-swithes,push button start, 1- shift light, big sticky SHINKO on rear and I'LL PAINT THE BODY WHITE ................

Did anyone take a picture of that DOHC CB750 that came by our pit in November? The owner was talking with us for the best part of an hour.

Sam,was he from virginia?

I'm not sure where he was from Mark or where he was pitted Frank.
Pops was asking about a Honda drag bike on dragbike.com and I wondered if this was the bike but it seems someone came up with the answer.
