Well crap, i got kicked to the curb already. All good, he was there when you guys abandoned me so i'll let you borrow him this time. Lol. Wilbur was good company and lent a hand when needed.

I should have a full crew this time. I found out a friend from high school lives in the area so i'm hoping he'll be there. My brother from Atlanta has committed to come and bring a few of his friends from his days living in St. Pete and my neices and their families are planning to hang out at least one day. A few racing friends from NC are going to participate this time around too. Should be a great event with family and my racing buddies.

Now if i can just get this SOHC back together in time.......

Mike is working on it Jerry and there is an airport near the track.
Bradenton Saratosa International is quite close to the track but you might have to fly to Atlanta first.
Waiting on Bills return to look into hotels. Two available with discount for event customers, one at $70 the other at $90.

I have a buddy in the Tampa area (Brandon, FL - he's not Brandon) but I'll fly to ATL and hang with my sister there. Road trip with you guys to FL.

Room at Sleep Inn booked Th-Fr-Sa-Sun. Colorado to ATL flight booking soon. Mike and I will be Sam and Bill's neighbors.

Flight into/from ATL booked. Arrive 11/3 depart 11/13.

Road trip!

Ask Bill if we can do dinner at Cafe Risque on I-75 in Florida  ;)

Mike will probably get a rental in Tampa so we'll have an extra vehicle.

Yeah, it's a $70 room. Double non puffer. Oh yeah Th, Fr, Sa, Sun

To make a long story shorter... a young guy that works at the pharmacy also works the desk at the local Comfort Inn. I saw something about Sleep Inn being affiliated so I ask him. Told him what we are up to and he asks if I'd like a friends and family discount. Sure but we're already getting a group rate. "Probably can get a better rate". Sure lets check it out. $49.99 so now I have the original reservation too that I don't need. Figured I'd hang on to it for a while just in case.

 ;D 8) ;)  Looks like Murphy and I will have $20 more per night in our drinking budget

Yeh, I am gonna make this one! Flying to Tampa, then a rental car. They told me there were no rooms available at the Sleep Inn. Had to book about a block away at the Hampton. Yikes - the price! Looking forward to it!

Jerry, if Frank doesn't take that extra room, I can cancel the Hampton and have more drinking money. Let me know.

I'm in there Jerry but can't make it til very early friday morning so see if they'll accept a late check in or will allow a change to friday. Let me know. It would be great if we were all in one place. Why i say that i haven't a clue- you fellas might get me in trouble with my wife. Lol.
