Well done gentlemen, it's all looking good.
One small problem I have picked up on though.
It seems to be one wheel short! ;D

I took the seat to the post office this morning and was ready to hand over £60 to get it shipped.
The Post Master started to fill in all the paper work and then found that he had no customs documents.
"You'll have to go to the main Post Office down the road" he said.
I walked back to work, loaded the seat into my car and drove about a mile to the main office.
The parcel was re-weighed and I was asked "£35 or £60" what's the difference I asked, 3 days or 5 was the reply. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D seat will be there in 5 days Billy, give or take a bit for the weekend. ::)

Sam.........I've been looking at the side-profile with that 350 tank and am thinking you should have a lower tank - especially at the rear.  Suggest taking a look at a CB500T tank...........Google it for a pic......and if you can't find one I have a one or two spares.

Hi Dennis, Thank's for the concern, I can see what you're saying but if you look at the first 2 pics on page 14 it don't look to bad.
The pic you are probably referring to is the one where the rear end is jacked up real high on Bills paddock stand.
The seat is already made to fit the 350f tank so it will have to stay for the time being.

Old Scrambler, thanks for the observation. We need all the help we can get! ;) I still hadn't fitted the rear ...Me and Big Brasso had a little talk with the tank..all good now...just a couple of well placed taps.Still have to check petcock and secure the rear. ; ;D,Gotta do fork seals tomorrow and paint lower legs(blk).
Mike,I need the rest of the STUFF!...Battery box lower stay rod..solenoid etc.solenoids I have many, battery box rod buried under donor bike, only other one...in Boston? ;D.

Lower now.

Z rear!
Another shot or rear brake work..Thanks,MRieck.

Something nice under that tank! ;D

All for now,off to look for tank emblems and install petcock. Bill

I needed to severely "adjust" the underside of the 400F tank on this 550 too. Very accurate ballpeen work!

Seems to me the 350 cock was single outlet, but that'll never do on that fire breather. Plus the stock boss will undoubtedly interfere with the CR's. The project "minds that be" probably have this resolved, but if not, a dual outlet Pingle would solve this issue.

Cool, I think it need that drag style front fork brace , I been trying to show you guys how to build.. there a couple thread on here showing how..

And please, please slam the back of that puppy ,  it will be run on pavement.. wont it..??

Mine in stock type frame, when you sight along the top of the frame tubes behind the tank.. the line is closer to the rim , than the top of the tire.. and that is is on the street..

Don't need a dual petcock. You can modify the carbs if you need to, but it's a wasted, time consuming task. A single outlet Pingel petcock works fine. You'll have enough fun mounting the carbs and manifolds to the head. The fine art of gentle persuasion..!
