Yes Scottly, that is me and I am old ;D That was when I was younger in 09. ;)
Note the racing head, all hair removed for lightness, also since been fitted with new specs and lightweight plastic racing teeth. I wanted carbon fibre ones but the dentist said black teeth would look a bit funny. ;D ;D ;D ;D
The bikes quite light as well, weighs in around 140lb and was built for a British land speed record attempt in the 175cc class.
It was the first failure that I've ever had. The nitrous didn't work and carburation/ignition problems knocked its top speed right down. I still have it and will wheel it out again one day.

Yeah, I also run with a lightweight racing head, but have only gone so far as to have silver fillings in teeth replaced with lightweight composite. ;D

Damn; 140 lbs??? More about this bike please!!! Maybe you should start thinking about Bonneville? ;)

MR. JWEEKS: Do you run PODS, STACKS or a modified AIR BOX on your CV CARBS ?  I have a DRY ICE business 5 minutes from my shop and can get all the dry ice I want to use in a AIR BOX.  One time when we were dynoing the PRO-STOCK bike I put a brick of dry ice in the sealed air box and turned the fans on high, what a boost for a carb motor in power !!!!!  Back in 1989 the PRO-STOCK champ got caught with this in his air box [ turn in by George Bryce at a NHRA race ]  with white dry ice smoke coming out of his air intakes in front fairing =  still illegal to do today in PRO-STOCK. I do have about 8 dial-a-jet kits that I could use to change the jetting with the click of a small screw driver, I installed many of these kits on the lean burn bikes of the early 80's and later Suzuki Bandit, CBX'S models for riders.
