Anyone used Vesrah pads on their SOHC? What do you think?
« on: November 29, 2009, 08:51:25 PM »
I am sending my rotor out to speedracer in a couple weeks and need to get some new pads. The local bike shop said that the Vesrah are real nice and would not pay the xtra $$$ for oem or EBC.

I have heard the name before and know they make great racing clutches and racing pads, but has anyone used Vesrah pads on a vintage bike?

How do you like them? Do they wear too fast? squeal when applied?

I'm not trying to skimp out and go for the cheapest, but the local shop said they work well on their bikes, and I don't know if they're just trying to sell me something in stock, or honestly giving me their opinion.

Thanks in advance,
Shizz

Back in the 70's they were the only aftermarket ones available so yes fitted 100's with no problems
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Used Vesrah in the UK and they were rubbish in the wet.
But this was back in the late '80s.

I always used Ferodo in my 550F bikes...and have used them ever since, even in my R1.
