I have voluntarily removed the post that I had submitted here earlier today.

Not realising at the time of posting that I was out of line making light of the 9/11 tradgedy I would like to unreservedly apologise to anyone that did read it and was offended.

I say this to you all respectfully.

Listen, I'm usually not one to get offended easily, but I think this joke is in bad taste, not funny at all.

Don't know how you'd feel if you lost people that day or were in the city when it happened, like a lot of us were.

I know I wouldn't be making jokes about an attack/natural disaster on Australian soil that killed 2900+ innocent people.

I know it wasn't your intention.  That's why there was no name calling ;-)

Leave it unless somebody else feels it should be taken down.

It was bad timing too.  Don't know if it made the news down under, but text messages from 9/11 that were leaked were just published here.

Thanks for considering taking it down though and sorry for being a downer in the humor section.

It is no problem.
I do realise that that it is a sensitive matter and I do have respect for everyone that suffered and lost their lives.
I do not want to cross the line here and if only one person is offended, that is good enough reason for me to remove it.
Please let me know your wishes and I will respect them.
