Which one do you think works best?  We use some stuff by ACDelco at work in a car shop.  and i think wd40 works great on sticking lock cylinders or creaking door hinges etc...

There is a FAQ/engineering study on this subject which enlightened me. WD-40 scored worst, PB Blaster and others were better. All commercial and relatively expensive compared to...

50/50 acetone and atf. This mixture was by far the least expensive and by far the most effective. Mix it up, brush it on or put in spray bottle.

TwoTired posted that awhile back.  I've given it a try a few times, but didn't work that well for me.  I went back to PB Blaster which seldom lets me down.

For the really tough rusted bolts and things, I found KROIL brand (Kano Labs) to work really well.  The stuff stinks, but works.

I don't know if you can still get it but Penetrine is the best stuff i have ever used to free up stuck and rusty bolts, it used to be used a lot in the aero industry, i used to get mine off an engineer friend who worked for Qantas..

I've used the acetone and ATF on a couple of bits that looked like they were fished up from the ocean.  I really thought I'd have to just saw them apart.  Brushed it on on day one.  Another time on day 2, and later that day it just came right off with a pair of pliers.  I am SOLD.
