New guy from Miami
« on: December 08, 2009, 11:02:17 AM »
Hello everybody:
New member from Miami. After been around bikes all my life I've decided that I needed a cafe racer.
The list was short but atop was the CB in any of it's incarnations.
I've found a lost child, so I've decided to give it a try.. A 1978 CB750K with 29K miles.

So far I've ordered:
Hondaman's ignition box.
Solid state regulator rectifier.
Chain 530 conversion.
Piggy back rear shocks.
Next:
Tail piece and seat.
Later:
Engine detailing.
Some day:
Paint job.
So I guess I have my evenings full with this project; but I enjoy working on bikes as much as I enjoy riding my other toys.
Regards,
Gaucho

Welcome. At least you can ride year-round.  ;)

Welcome Gaucho,
Seems from the picture, that you have a good foundation.. Picking up Hondaman's ignition box was a good start.. ;)

Yep, we can ride all year long here in sunny SoFla, as long as it is in a straight line. LOL
 ;)
