how do you do this as a business and get away with it?
is it because all they have to do is ignore complaints, cause they know they're gonna have business with or without you?   

I hate when a company gets too big for its britches.

That's funny!

They don't care.  They're a publicly traded corporation.  As long as the shareholders are happy, that's all they care about, unfortunately.  I'm sure they'll get what's coming to them some day, though.  Just like many other big companies they're blissfully ignorant of the fact that when somebody else does eventually come up with a viable option to what they're selling that's been built on the experience of what they've done wrong, their customers will leave them in droves because they don't inspire any kind of loyalty.  In fact it seems like they actively try to discourage it.

I can count on one hand the amount of items I have bought and sold on Ebay.

Never been a fan and never will. Sure CL and Kijiji are full of BS stuff but for free and (generally) local buy and sell their my favs big time!!
