Never got my service manual back in the trade off. Bought this bike for my wife to learn how to ride and has been titled around for others to also learn(did not want my name anywhere near those learning to ride). Got the bike back in need of carburetor cleaning, again. While I have the tank off I wanted to check the valve clearance and compression but don't have the specs. Also don't remember what is done with a warm or cold engine. Found the free 1980 manual here, but the carbs are different so I am skeptical about the other specs. Are they the same?
I am looking for valve clearance, compression range, and any carb specs to help with the adjustment.
