Hello from the East Bay
« on: November 27, 2009, 12:28:17 AM »
Hi there all, I'm new to the community, and bikes in general so I thought id start off here ;) Ive got two 1975 CB550F's. One was bought new in '75 by my father and has around 89K on the spedo. He never left any of his cars stock and this bike is no exception. He's giving it to me as a winter project and i will be needing all of your expertise and help to identify, repair, and improve with everything he tinkered on. The other bike was also bought as a gift, and amazingly seems to only have 3600 original miles!!! After a little cleaning, a carb rebuild and a new exhaust shes ready for a new home, sadly theres only garage space for one bike project and I figure it ought to be the one with the family history. I have pictures of that bike in my Album on the gallery and will post an add up in the classifieds soon as i can. Pictures of my dads bike will go up as soon as i get my camera back from some old room mates >_< Thanks again and I hope to be on the road with you all this Summer!
