Saw it in the theater when it came out and really enjoyed it.  It is a departure from the formula and style of the first three, and honestly, it was refreshing.  A lot of people hate on this one, but I'm picking up the DVD myself to put right on the shelf with the others.

Huh, I didn't like it as much as the other Terminators- oh well.

Found it to be obnoxiously loud at the theater, and usually I never have that problem- ever.

I also recommend going for the "unrated" version...I don't say this because I'm one of those people that feels that the more gore and swearing the better...it's because, like Live Free or Die Hard, it was cut down to PG-13 at the last minute.  Therefore, I found some moments to take me out of the illusion of the movie because I was too busy thinking, "That was an awkwardly cut piece of dialogue..." or "Something was supposed to be there, but they must have taken it out."

Disclaimer:  I'm not saying that these things were through-out, or that I'm a nit-picky person.  I'm just saying that, given the option of the theatrical version or the version they intended to release, you might appreciate the 'smoother' version.

I enjoyed it.  I waited for the rental, but I thought it was very good.  Better than T-3 IMHO.

Alright, I didn't want to be the only one in this boat, I just found the first three to be more enjoyable also, Christian Bale freak out or no.

I liked it quite a bit. I would rank the movies in the following order for me:

T1
T2
T4

T3...would rather not put in the list. I just couldn't get into it...not sure why. Don't even own it but I have the other ones. Just got the BluRay directors cut version of Salvation and it is an improvement over the theatrical one.

Ok, I just saw this last night.  I did like it but I was confused a lot of the time.  To me, John Conner and Marcus looked to much the same. The rental DVD jumped back a minute a few times (this was not intended right?), it helped confuse me.  Did they mention Marcus in the first three? I cannot remember.

The looking close and the DVD jumping back had me wondering how they were telling the story.

Seeing it was only a T1 Arnold at the end of this one and they did not get to the time travel part of the story, do y'all expect another one?
