i dont suppose anyone here has a dvd copy of that movie? from the 70's with a very young don johnson and a young nick nolte.

Funny you should ask....I bought that movie in VHS back in the eighties at my local grocery warehouse then proceeded to load my groceries in my car and left the damn tape in the front of the cart and went home!  >:( :(
I was hoping to relive seeing it as a kid in the seventies on the CBS 'Late, Late, Movie'. You know, back in the day's when Johnny C. had the only late night talk-show and the other networks played movies.

P.S. I did go back when I realized I didn't have the tape but it was too late! If I remember correctly, old Jethro (Max Baer Jr.) played the sheriff in that movie.


So bottom line is.....sorry BucFuz, can't help ya. :'( :'(

ys, Max Baer did indeed play the sheriff. i just love all those 60's and 70's car chase movies like Crazy Larry and Dirty Mary, macon county, 2 lane blacktop, gator. it's been 25 years since i saw return to macon county
