76 750- clutch engages late
« on: November 29, 2009, 08:15:34 AM »
I've adjusted my clutch by this forums specs. But my clutch still engages very late. The clutch lever has to be let out half way or more before bike will start to move. Once underway the bike seems to shift ok and so far have not noticed any slippage. The only way I can get it to engage sooner is to have alot more free play in the clutch lever than Honda says and than it seems shifting suffers. Is this just common with 750's or at 17000 miles do I need to replace clutch? Im just not use to this type of clutch release.
