CBX Parts anyone?
« on: December 05, 2009, 11:27:43 AM »
I know a number of you guys have a pretty good stash of SOHC parts, but I don't know if anyone has CBX parts.

Anyone looking to part with any stuff for a 1979 - 1980 CBX?  Specifically
tachometer and speedometer,
rear brake light assembly and
center stand.
I could also use some blinkers but may opt for some from another brand or another Honda model instead of the pricey CBX ones.

Thanks.

Yes, I am on CBX World.  Good site, but I know this site has a lot of motorheads too.  You never know where a good deal may be lurking...   ;)

You might try Ray (fasterspider) at VJMOG - he sort of specializes in the CBX......

I will do that.  He had some good advice for me regarding a thread repair.  Seems like a nice guy.

Got a CBX with a few spares but nothing like what you are asking, Bill (tbpmusic) is right about Ray (fasterspider0 if he doesn't have what you need, he might know where to get those parts. When I got mine, I would like to have come up with a speedo/tach from a 79' to put on there for my own benefit, but around $600 is too much for that. :o
