Hey Dusterdude they found your old ride! :D
These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.

The builder had to hide for being wanted for crimes against Hondas.  That is why it was abandoned.

I think the seat offense alone should modify the whole case to a hate crime.  ;D

Two Observations - Somebody put a bunch of time and $$ in the bike and getting the seller to crate the bike for $350.00 seems like a downright bargain.

well, it's certainly a piece of ...history!   ;D

i use this convenient and simple system to rate built work...

a: a good idea done well
b: a good idea done poorly
c: a bad idea done well
d: a bad idea done poorly

there's room for applause here - i give it a "c"...i bet Leno is buying that #$%*!   ;D ;D ;D

Well, I don't know if it's because the hour is late and I should be in bed waiting for Santy to make his drop, or the empty JD bottle beside me, but I quite like it!

As Junky says, the dude's put a lot of work into it, I'd say (being a child of the seventies) that this bike was no-one's "daily rider", but probably a show-bike. There were magazines like "Iron Horse" and "Chopper" filled with bikes like this, back then, the rule was, "The wilder, the better"! It's good to see that it's in such good condition, the paint and chrome still looks great, as does the seat, and pretty much everything else.

It's not something that we'd ride all that often, but for a lot of us who are old enough and were actually riding these bikes (I bought my first CB750 new in 1978) back then, this thing is  like a well preserved time capsule, and as soon as I started to check out the pics, immediately long forgotten memories started to flood back into my grey matter.

I'd buy it you know, just to park in a corner of the house, to gaze on it now and then to remind me of how much fun we had back then, when bikes were as much an expression of our personalities and the time in which we lived, long before "train spotters" crawled out of the woodwork, and "streetfighters" tried to re-invent the wheel! Long live individuality! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I can remember lots of these "things" on the road in the 70s. The CB750 was everywhere and was cheaper than a Harley so anyone could do this. Even AEE got into CB750 around 1971 or 1972 due to the poularity of the bikes. Everyone wanted to be an individual and with so many CBs out there they varied from mile to... well something like that above. This one doesn't have the real wild paint job of the early mid 70s, and also the stock tank on it leads me to believe that the original builder didn't finish it and another guy tried to finish it. The skyscraper pipes are 1967-1971 Harley based chopper items. So it must be very early 70s or someone just had a thing for that style. Mid to later 70s saw low seats solo/pillion and drap dump pipes. Done of a vintage Harley the old school chopper appeals to me as they take me back to a fun time for me.
The CB750 never really lent itself to this type of chopping and this example bears me out.

You're on Grumby! Don't drop it in the snow and ice though mate, I reckon it'll be hard to find replacement parts! Cheers, Terry. ;D
