Love the tail light.

Are those factory side covers? Where'd ya get them?

WFO,
I used the poor man's method on mine: aircraft clamps.  It worked surprisingly well  I have a couple pictures on my (slow as molasses) build site at www.stocker2rocker.com
It took 10 years but she's finally done!

Quick pics of updates:

Gauge mount for aftermarket gauges:

And here is something I was afraid of when I was painting the frame...

You can clearly see (or at least I can) that there is a bend in the frame that is tilting the front end clockwise a few degrees when viewed from the front.  I think I'll have to find a shop that can straighten the frame hopefully without stripping it.  If not, I might have to find a new frame.  Either way, I'm going to complete the build and see if the engine will even start and stay tight.

Stay tuned!

if you put it with both wheels on the ground and you lay on the floor yourself, looking at the tires, putting them behind each other with your eyes, can you see then that the front tire is tweaked to the right...?????(looking from the back forward)...
it does look out of line in that picture, have to agree on that.....that would be bad news, they can fix that, but not without damaging the paint job..... >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
Marti, I want you to know, I like you an awful lot, but guys have said far less and left wearing their drinks on their shirts.

OK.  Time to sh!t or get off the pot on this one.

The bike has been sitting unfinished and I have been neglecting it.  Shameful really.  Here's what's happened:

1.  We had our first baby in May (maybe 'nuff said there)

2.  I bought a new '08 Honda VFR800.  Love this bike!!

So the CB has become neglected.  I really want to finish it, but I just don't have the time.  I would estimate it is about 90%.

The only things left are getting the electricals sorted, fabbing an exhaust mount for the Kerker set that I already have, and finally finishing the paint.  It hasn't been started since I rebuilt the engine, so if there are any issues there, those will have to be sorted as well.

I have to be realistic and realize that I am not going to be able to finish this with the time I have right now.  I am considering paying someone to complete it.  I was thinking of contacting Steve Carpenter "Carpy" here in So Cal.  Does anyone have any good other suggestions for local (to Long Beach) CB Cafe expert types?
