1. There were 8 of them, 2 were imbedded reporters....no one is saying the other 6 were "innocents".

2. Contrary to what most think, this is a war. People get killed in a war. When a reporter decides they want to imbed themselves with the enemy, they are taking the chance that things like this happen. The SMART move is to get out of the way.

3. Do I feel sorry for their death...of course. Do I think they were stupid? ABSOLUTELY. You gotta pick your friends more carefully...these guys kill coalition forces guys that are innocent as well. Hopefully this will be a wakeup call to the reporters that think this is a football game.....get out of the way.

4. In short, there are 6 bad guys that can't kill Americans anymore.

I don't have the luxury of handing out hugs and kisses to the guys who have killed my buddies over there.

If they can tell EXACTLY who is who from that distance by watching that video, those guys have a job waiting for them at the NSA. Just because they SAY and point out "this is the journalist"....dosen't mean it is so. I wonder if they would be showing this video if it was of an American getting blown into chunks of meat?

these are professionals , who deal with weapons on a daily basis, and should #$%*in know better ... i could see a big ass camera being mistaken for an AK47 from that distance .... but an RPG ? come on man , it's a #$%*in camera ....

in the vid i can see how the pilots made the mistake (if a mistake was actually made that is) , but we're talkin about human life here .. . you can't just say "HE'S GOTTA WEAPON!!" and then mow down a small crowd ....

but ...thats why i'm not there, i respect human life

Again, there are 6 fewer guys who can kill Americans GI's and that's what matters to this guy.

They can always surrender. Since they CHOOSE not to, if they cross our path and are a threat, then down they go. In the Words of Patton "It's not my job to die for my coutnry....it's my job to make the other S.O.B. die for his".

As a combat vet, I can't afford the luxury to caring about them. They are trying to kill us, and if I can, I will get to them first.

The cameraman and reporter chose the worng side to hang with. Sometimes you gotta pick the right side.....

Humans are not infallible......those 2 humans made a mistake as well.....

Don't like it? Bring us home.

so by travelers logic if i were to just go kill somebody because of there background on our soil i shoudnt get covicted of murder becasue they could be making bombs and threating us and we are war .......... thats bs any human life is worth more then someon just saying they have weapons with todays tech mo mistakes should be made and we are supposed to be over there on somekinda of peacekeeping mission how is killing anyone keeping peace

You have twisted what he's said in such a convoluted way its hard to know where to start.

I'll just end by saying never have I ever heard or understood that we are there on a peacekeeping mission. It is a war on terrorism. Nothing peaceful about it. Killing is to be expected.

I agree but when you guys like to show video world wide as to how technologically advanced you are then this type of crap should never happen. I heard an American General in the Gulf war say " we can now find a coin in the desert" referring to satellite technology so i would love to know how this can still happen, i suspect so would the Americans and Canadian red cross patrol that the US shot to hell a couple of years back in Afghanistan and the rest of the own kills that have and continue to happen....

I bet if you had lost family in the twin towers you wouldn't be saying that.

I haven't been programmed to think anything......experience fighting and having friends get maimaed and killed taught me that. I am college educated....I'm not a uneducated redneck.
