Looking to grab a new stainless steel exhaust system.  I have a 1972 CB750 but really like the look of their model that is designed for a 78-80 CB750.  Do you think that one will fit my 1972?  I feel like the headers are all the same.  Thx!

78-80 CB750 is the twin cam right?

I used a Russ Collins 4-1 made for K7 many years ago. Had to fabricate brackets for rear mount and pegs. see photo

I think this bike on the video use a later system for twin cam CB750. Vance&Hines SS2R Carbon.

The last year of the sohc750 was 1978. 
If someone made an exhaust that fits the dohc motors as well as the sohc motors, that means the spacing of the exhaust ports on the heads didn't change...

do 69-76 exhausts also fit 77-78 heads? (If you also change the spigots)

 Drag racers are using the V/H cb750/cb1100 twin cam headers. They require a little tweaking at the rear mount but I have one on a K2 bike.

Surely they have one listed for a 72?? and could it be that much different than the SOHC? AFAIK??? the headers are the same for the SOHC and there are 2 diffent mufflers which may have different mounts for different 750 models (excluding the DOHC). Not so sure about the collector being a single model?
