Dream ride

If you were able to take that trip you always dreamed of, where would you ride to? My brother and I just realized it's time to ride.

San Diego to Vancouver BC, up US1 and back again!  ;D  RR

I was put on Earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Now I'm so far behind, I'll never die!

When I saw the title, I was going to say Jessica Alba. Now that I see the actual subject, I would say Texas to Alaska....

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I don't have enough time to be able to go where I want and pay for it. For now, I'll be staying in the US.

I was thinking going from Illinois to the black hills, west to Oregon, left to California, left to Bonneville for watching and learning at the speed trials, then through Colorado on the way back.
Or like 754 said, straight to the salt and make a run.
MJL, thats why it's called a dream ride.
How do you even begin to plan a ride in Europe? Rent a bike? I read about a deal once where you purchased a BMW, rode the trip and then shipped it home.

Summer 1989 US1 from San Francisco to Vancouver was part of our trip. Nice route, be it that I couldn't get used to ride that Goldwing 1100 Interstate. I suppose you can still follow our tracks: man, we had iron scraping the turmac in every bend.
I love winding roads. France and Switzerland offer many.

i'd start in england in mid spring and from there take a chunnel train over to france and do all of europe. i'd buy a motorcycle when i got to england then sell it when i leave, i figure it will save me a bunch of money not shipping my bike over there.
