I think I have my family trained right....A set of metric wrenches, Craftsman screwdriver set, a Honda Racing hat AND tee shirt and to top it off, tickets for me and my sons to the Monster Truck show in February.  Sweet!

This year we really didn't "need" a thing.. No big items, as we're at that point in life that if we want something, we just go get it.  Which is really nice for a change!

So I got some nice little things I wanted:
The Purpose Driven Life book - something I had asked for
A lovely fluffy robe for when I get out of our hot tub plus a massage (YEA)
Madagascar the movie
and a neat TV, DVD, Radio Thingy that hangs from the cabinets in the kitchen, as my current one is at Least 22 years old and doesn't want to work any more.

Plus some really neat mittens with gel in them so I can heat them up and keep my hands really warm!

Plus getting to see 2 of my 3 kiddos be happy on Christmas cause I gave them exactly what they wanted!
Best of all: a kiss (or two)  from DH

In my book, it doesn't get any better than that.

My wife, god love her,  gave me a bike lift and adjustable work stool in Nov for my Birthday and for Christmas she got me another set of short metric wrenches, a multi set of cir clip pliers, and a weird type of metric socket set.

Hope you boys and Girls all received what you may have wanted from Santa/ ;D

Yep Sam that would have been nice, but actually, with the tech post here and also another thread with Photos(!) I may have almost enough info to start this project.  One thing I'm worried about is taking rear wheel off...that is very intimidating for me.  I'm going to check out the tech info on doing that, just to get an idea of how difficult it is to do.  AND I have not figured out (in my head) why the rear wheel must come off??  So want to have the entire project planned out from beginning to end in my head before I begin.  Is that normal??

BTW  I gave DH a "design your garage storage system" check - we've been wanting to do that for several years.

The really neat thing is I want the tools in foam thingys..in drawers, so I can FIND the right wrench when I need it.  Looked in 7 drawers today for a 3/16th socket...so I'm at that point that I want his tools  into "a place for everything and everything in its place" kinda system!

And Seaweb11, your wife is a keeper!  a Lift and work stool both in the same year!

5 mock turtle neck shirts, BAHH.
As an early christmas gift my dad and his wife replaced my 3 drawer rally box that was stolen several years ago, a florescent drop light, swing arm bushings and break pads for the front and back.
I farted and made my son cry.

Well I got a new shop vac so I could clean up my lathe, mill, and boring bar, and a DVD player so I can watch movies in my bedroom when I wake up in the middle of the night and all that's on TV is adverts for pimple cream and exercise videos.

I also got a DVD (Blues Brothers) some chocolates (if my wife doesn't eat them first!) and a bottle of JD. See, you guys might think I give you the #$%*s, but Santy loves me! Cheers, Terry. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

That's no good mate, is a "mud eatin' dog" worse than a "Man eating fish"? Get Well Soon, Cheers, Terry. ;D

A full set of Craftsman screwdrivers (easier to fix things  around the house), winter riding gloves, winterized/waterproof boots and jacket, and 2 maps to Boston, Massachusetts (to reduce the number of calls home, "honey I'm lost again, be a little late home"), and a book on old bikes ...gives me something to show the boys in Boston.

my dad got me the Minicraft Model of the Honda 750 Four Cylinder Engine!  it's a working (electric power) model and looks like it'll only take about 5 years to put together!  ;D

maybe it'll give me a little more confidence when i eventually have to crack into the real thing...hope...

Whats a dryer John? Is that one of them white box thingies in the laundry? I hear it running sometimes, but I'm not sure how to operate it?  ???
