cb750k2 engine cases colour in UK (and barrels)
« on: December 06, 2009, 10:14:00 PM »
Has anyone got the definitive colour for paint available in the UK for the cb750's (k2) crankcases? and also the barrels ??
Please do not tell me to use anything that a few drops of fuel would spoil as I do not want to be taking the motor out to redo it should I experience any minor carb leaks after this total restoration!!!!
Thanks in advance.....

Do a search on the forum for "engine paint" and you will find plenty of ideas.
If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

I'm using VHT engine paint, it's pretty consistant out of the can. Just a note, you need to use paint that can take the heat..

I've used Duplicolour Engine Enamel 1615 with good success on K0 cases in Canada.
