18" Rear Wheel
« on: December 06, 2009, 05:35:55 PM »
Hello All,
I have a K8 pulling a sidecar. It has the stock 17" rear wheel. Does anyone know if the earlier 18" wheel will fit the K8? 18" sidecar tires are available, but I have not found any 17" sidecar tires.

It should fit just fine, just use the sprocket carrier from your K8 (and the axle and spacers too) as it stands the sprocket a little further out to keep the chain line correct.

You'll be fine with the stock wheel and MC tire on your rig. I have plenty of grip on the rear wheel.

Here is some shots of my hacked k8  ;)
