So you've tried to order a new one?
I'd prefer a new one but I may have to resort to used.
Thx!
I went on a mission to find a N.O.S. pivot bolt a while back. My extensive research provided a few nuggets of information: 1) New ones are extinct. I called tons of Honda dealers around the country, hoping to luck-out and find an old one on a parts shelf somethere. This didn't pan out. I'm sure there's one out there, but I couldn't find it. 2) Depending on the level of your restoration, used ones may not do you right. Unless, that is, you're willing to send it, along with your swingarm, to Hondaman for the full-service reworking. Used ones may or may not be ever so slightly (or more) out of round - depends on how it was maintained in the bike, age/miles, etc. Hondaman can fix all this, but there's time, money and effort involved with this route. No doubt, his service is the best to be had. 3) By entering your desired part number into Google (along with a qualifier like "Honda"), you can find parts online easier, especially if you're hoping to find something random and potentially rare.
This last bit of knowledge helped me out, as I was able to (finally!

) find my coveted N.O.S. pivot bolt. It looks to have been sitting for quite some time, but it doesn't show any signs of having ever been installed. I cleaned it up, tapped it for American-style grease fittings, and it now sits in my garage awaiting the right project. I was going to use it on my current project bike, but I ended up reusing my old one and "experimenting" by installing a needle bearing kit -- we'll see how it holds up.

Cheers, and good luck with the search!
