i can pick one up for a song needs cosmetic work and one side cover.  are these worth saving.  runs great good interior tank needs paint has4-1 exhaust like my f model

Of course they are!!

The big Z motor is, IMHO, the strongest, best foundation for a big-bore streetbike.  As far as I'm concerned, they're indestructible. 

Lots of variations in those final few years - standard, cruiser, 1000, 1100, tourer, shaftie, super-sport (the GPz)...

I'd go for it, depending on how 'loud' the song IS...

I love them, good looks, bomb proof engine and getting collectible, on my list of "must get" bikes...

It is an 81 1000M CSR Guy wants 700 and he has done alot of the work already.  Bike passed inspection but has these cheesy plastic turn signals.  The bike is STRONG and after my 550 F a shock

Do I need another crapcycle?  how can you have too many?

i got to ride one many years ago and i can remember still, what a brute that thing was, especially coming off of the 500cc pre-unit triumph chop.

I think that's the 'econo' version, if you can call a 1000cc stomper an 'econo' version.  But, single front disk brake & spoke wheels, yeah?

Bet it would be kewl cafe'd.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

bike has dual front brake rotors and starts and runs real smooth. has a tag and was inspected.  i am trying to resist.
