Good Service After all
« on: December 11, 2009, 10:33:26 AM »

After I got the GTX, I saw that the glove box insert wasn't there. So, I looked on ebay for a spell and remembered a place called "Year One". I went online, found the site and started browsing. well, SOME of that stuff was pretty pricey for ME! :o Then, I saw that they HAD the part I was initially looking for. It wasn't priced too bad and I ordered it (on the 5th of Nov)! 8) Time went by and I was getting some things now and then through the mail and shippers (UPS & Fedex), but no glove box insert. ??? After quite some time, I went back to my email and saw that it WAS on the 5th of Nov and that it could take from 1 - 4 weeks. OKAY, there was a little more time. So, I didn't think about it again until day before yesterday. So, I looked up the email address and sent a message to them (yeah, a NICE one) and got a response back that evening that they were sorry about the delay and their supplier was out at THAT time, but they'd get right on it. Yesterday, I got another email saying that they sure were sorry and my part was on it's way! So, I thought,"All Right!" 8) So, I was expecting to have to wait for the 1 - 4 weeks and, at about 10:30 today, UPS rang my doorbell and was going back to his truck. I looked out to see what he had left AND, THERE IT WAS, my glove box insert from Year One! 8) Forgot to say that, Year One ALSO gave me an EXTRA 10% OFF of my NEXT order. Took longer than I expected, but it IS a nice piece of work and will look quite NICE when I get it in place. ;)

Isn't Year One a GM related supplier?

Thanks for the suggestion!

I've come to believe that the big names are the ones who really come through in the end.
Sierra Trading Post has treated me similarly so many times I've lost count.

They cover ALL the Brands, Check it out: http://dusterinterior.com/

Well, I wouldn't have thought that they would do me wrong, but was beginning to wonder. I had ordered and won other things fro ebay and some other places, with pretty prompt service and THEN, it seemed like it was taking forever for that glove box insert. But, it seems my order just feel through the crack. But, it was promptly corrected, as soon as I asked about it. ;)
