Was poking around the Cycle World magazine forums and came upon this.  Is that THREE SOHC 750 engines?

That was one awesome machine, although the later V8 configuration was more advanced.IMHO
Better sorry for failing then for the lack of trying.

Funny thing about regret is...... its better to regret something you have done than to regret something you haven't done.

Oh, yeah, baby!!

I remember being 10 ~ 12 years old and reading my older brother's Cycle magazine where they did a comparison between the A,T&SF, a double-engined Norton and a double-engined Harley.  They were the three top bikes at that time.

Kewl!!

Should add,
Russ Collins took Nest Enginnerred Award for NHRA at least once, that is his bike was considered best built over all the othe dragsters, cars included. While it would be fairly easy to  build today, it was not then.

The A T & SF, came to an ugly end, one day at the drags. Got out of shape spit Russ off, and bounced at least 3 times, once as high as about 70 feet.. :o  :o, this happened at about 175mph.. :o.

Neddless to say, Russ was quite broken up over that...literally...
