Gday Dave, i'm on the south side of Brisbane in the Redlands, bikes in bits at the moment and its quite slow getting everything together but never the less its a 750 Honda K2. This is the best place on the planet for expertise on the bikes so welcome and enjoy...

welcome to the SOHC4 forum. so what bike did you drop the CB500 motor in? i picked up a 72 cb500 a few months ago as a winter project, great bike! i live in the states and my friend is here from Canberra Australia visiting nebraska and experiencing our wonderfull winter storms. took her to an outback steakhouse for a not-so-authentic australian cuisine... i think the waiter thought she was faking her aussie accent, we had a good laugh.

If you just want to chat about anything, stick it in the "open forum", Honda related stuff in the "SOHC/4 Bikes" section and if you are doing a build,  the "projects" thread should be just fine.... ;)  I visit the Old Holden site occasionally as i have a mate with 30 odd HR's and EH's, in allstates of rebuild, he's got a GTR as well and a few others as well. Although i have never owned a HQ i have had some nice Monaro's and SL/R's  and a few old XR Fairmonts with the 289 windsor, i am sort of stuck in the past as well... ;)
