« on: December 12, 2009, 10:11:47 AM »
Title says it all; I didn't see a post already up ( :-[)  so I wanted to wish my Jewish SOHCers all the best during this Holiday season.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Thanks guys!   ;D

(I wasn't around for a bit.  Didn't mean to be rude; but Jona covered it.)

BobbyR, you're invited for latkes; but our sufganiyot are much better!  I like the chocolate filled ones, myself.

Bill Ecosse, that picture you posted is actually pretty special.  How did you come up with that?

Oy! My non Jewish mother made latkes last night when I was there for a visit. She makes great latkes. Happy holidays to all...strange, holiday wishes are quite unlike me. Must regroup and re-evaluate.  ;D

You can sum most of the Jewish holidays in 3 phrases:

They tried to kill us,
They didn't succeed,
LETS EAT! ;D ;D

I am supposed to go on a diet. How can one do that when everything that tastes good either makes you fat or is bad for you. God does have a sense of humor.

Not trying to HiJack here, but just wondered how YOU were doing Bobby? You've been in my thoughts lately and I've wondered about your situation. :-\

I am doing fine Bill. it would be a years till this made me feel poorly. Unfortuatley when you feel poorly you are 1/2 dead.
Now, let us enjoy the Holidays by eating and drinking and laughing. While I am Catholic, we  are told at Mass that we are also the Children of Abraham and Sarah. If you look at my picture you can see by my belly, I can get behind any Holiday that involves good food!
