Topic: CB500/550 stripe width?

Recently had my CB750K tank repainted with a black inset similar to a CB500. Does anyone know the widths of two white pin stripes that go around the perimeter of the black inset? (searched but couldn't find it).

i had my 500 repainted,we went with 2mm for the top one,then a 2mm gap(black)then 1mm for the second stripe,we carried the forward curve further aswell,measuring on the right hand side,from the most forward part of the "A" on the honda badge is 70mm to the inside stripe,your painting a 750 tank though so that aspect is different,im still trying to work out how to post photos,.

The painter did the inset a little different than I expected, so I ended up with more black area than I would've wanted. But the location for the stripes should be very obvious. I'm just gonna use tape. I was planning on using decals for the Honda logo, but l changed my mind and I have some badges on the way that I'll refinish (already did my side panel badges). I also got some chrome/black U-molding for the bottom from the local auto parts store. Not identical to stock, but I think it'll look great (cost me just $3!)

all my photos are about 1.95 to 2.8 mb ,how can i shrink them down the the 256k i need to post here?anyone?i have a program that changes from say jpg to pdf etc but they are still too big to post.

Just use an external hosting site like photobucket, then you don't have to worry about reducing the pictures.

I'm a Photoshop nerd myself, but if all you want to do is shrink pics, Photoshop is liking using a machine gun when you need a water pistol. That said, PS has a really neat "save for web and devices" feature that makes VERY small jpegs that still look good.
