If you don't mind ruining the race, tack weld a piece of steel one side to the other then drive it out.
That would probably do it, just I don't have a welder and I already ordered a new set. Seeing how I don't know the history of these I figure its best..

Thanks tho..

Not much Joe..
My server crashed (long story) so I spent the weekend getting it back up and the forums are still not done.. My fault for letting the software get so out of date. Anyway, I also had to work both weekends as we are upgrading our San's at work to Hitachi drives as the HP ones were getting long in the tooth, that's for over 300 servers, so we are doing about 12 a weekend. I hope to get back at it this weekend because they are taking the weekend off for the Superbowl... go figure..

Oh and my new berings and races came in from CrC2 and I ordered some shorty shocks.. Havoc is working on getting me some parts and I hope Sparky has the tank done in the next month or two.. I should have some picks of the frame with the swing arm and maybe the forks by Sunday..

Hope you had a great vacation.. Now get at it mister!! ;)

So even tho I had a lot going on this weekend I managed to get a few things done.

The picture does not show the forks well.. the one I polished is much shiner then it looks in the picture. Not bad when you consider I had one buffing wheel and a hand held electric drill to do the polishing.. Its really before and after pictures because they looked the same when I started.

First coat of paint is done on the swing arm and the triple tree top and bottom. Also the motor mounts and next weekend I should be done with painting the frame. I did manage to get the new races in for the new bearing sets..

That's it for now.. Big snow coming, so may have some time Wednesday to work on em some more. ;)

Well not much going, the build is not dead I just have been doing little things, like tracking down wire harness and cleaning out small parts etc..

More will come when I get some of the parts I ordered, and hope to get the engine cleaned and painted this week.

To be continued .......

I would, except I don't have the tools or the talent to do that good a job..

I believe IC might do it for me when I have the money, so I may go that route.. would probably be some what cheaper and
I am sure he would not mind the extra cash...

Well spent some time cleaning the motor up and taping off stuff I don't want paint on.. However I ran out of sand paper so.. I also made it upto Redline Cycles and had a great talk with the owner.. He is ordering some spokes for my front rim for me. He also gave me a real nice spoke wrench. The will also true up the rims once I mess them up.. ;) I had them remove the tires from the rims.. Once I got the rims home I noticed that the PO had loaded so much paint on the hub that I had to cut all the spokes off and then use pliers to pull off what was left of the spokes.. Man I have my work cut out for me on cleaning up this hub..

Anyway here are pics of the rear wheel. The front rim needs to be replaced however it will have to wait for next spring. Alone with some other things. Still no parts from Cycle Recycle, they take a while to get parts from them, however prices are good and I am always pleased with the items quality..
