Checked them first.  Just checked again in case I missed it.  Not there but it seems if they're out of stock on some things they don't always list them.  Have you actually bought one from them?

I need one for my K5.

I remember running across someone who was screening these onto new aluminum plaques, a while back.  I'll dig through my old links to see if I can find it.

My original one got sandblasted off when I took the frame to the powdercoater.  :'(

I have also been looking around for one.  Or a way to remove and reattach the old one.

The old ones can be removed if you're careful, I've done it before.  I used a razor blade to get underneath it and it was going so good I quit being so careful so I cut through it a little bit.  Its still usable but it will look like there's a small scratch on it.  It's in good enough shape that someone could probably scan it and print it on aluminum plates, an option I'm checking into, but I would rather just buy one.  If I find someone who can print one I'll get more than one made.

The K5 plate is very different, its got the frame number stamped on it.  If you can find that source that would be great.

The numbered ones you will have great difficulty in getting as its the "vin" plate and i have yet to find anybody who will replicate one as the could be accused of "ringing"

The plate for my 400 is very scruffy as the location is face out on the front engine down tube, I was thinking of a sticker to cover the old one with a cutout to show the stamped number, this would not be a replacment just a protective cover. done in foil I think it would look ok.

Check with the folks at Reproduction Decals.  They can do anything :)  You probably won't see it online - Honda forced all these guys I think to take their Honda repro decals off the web, but I think they're still being made.

Just make one. It's actually quite easy. I made all of mine. They hold up remarkably well. Just stick this stuff in the inkjet printer and let them dry really well. No smudge and they look like the original - plus you made it yourself. http://www.papilio.com/inkjet%20silver%20metallic%20adhesive%20film.html

Hi tintin and mycb750k6,
Two good ideas.  I'll check them both out.  Anyone else have suggestions?
Thanks,
Mark

Reproduction Decals has one. It's not aluminum like the original (must be printed on some kind of foil) and it's about half as thick.  If you put it under a good light and look at it just right you can see a difference but on the bike from a foot away I'd challenge anyone to tell the difference.  Price is $6 plus shipping.  You have to call them and ask for it though.  They can't show Honda stuff on the web site.  Highly recommended.

Hi Simpson,
I see you've got a K0.  The label I'm talking about doesn't have the VIN on it.  I don't know if the early K0's had the plain one but mine doesn't.  I got this one for my sandcast.  Just making sure you're getting what you want.

Too late!  ;D
Anyone want a label?  :D
I'm not sure if mine has the label or not.
My frame was pretty nasty when I got it.
Have to do research for 1029XXX now.

That VIN number definately has a different label, not like the one pictured.  Sorry if I caused some confusion.  I thought the numbered tags started on the early diecasts but maybe they started already on the later sandcasts.  I'm going to edit my post so it doesn't happen again.
