I get the Anubis part, but to be honest, the head image sort of comes off negative visually. Just my opinion, which is frequently considered of little value or worthless by some.  ;D
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

A·nu·bis (…-n›“b¹s, …-ny›“-) n. Mythology. A jackal-headed Egyptian god and the son of Osiris. He conducted the dead to judgment.

 jack·al (j²k“…l, -ôl”) n. 1. Any of several doglike mammals of the genus Canis of Africa and southern Asia that are mainly foragers feeding on plants, small animals, and occasionally carrion.

Jackal?

Anubis is also said to have watched the mummification of a person and helped the dead person travel to the afterlife. I was guessing emphasis was on the "travel to the afterlife" part.

Both true. Anubis was the guide to the dead. He would weigh your soul so that you can make your travel into the afterlife (Heaven or Hell). He could also bring you immortality by allowing you to stay in the realm of the living.

I was thinknig of something more Egyptian themed but the standard Anubis "Jackyl" head just did not seem to work.

Sort of a nobel way of looking at scraping bikes.

Right now this is just in the start up phase as far as the logo goes.

I would change the "man" in the middle to something else.
With the Anubis name , I would think some sort of "Jackyl" looking thing would
fit better than the guy you have now.

just my 2cents...

i really like your basic idea/imagery, but find the execution a bit foreboding/threatening/tough biker crowd/i'll take my business elsewhere.

how about:
osiris cycle
import cycle parts
keeping your old bike alive

maybe a familiar logo like this:

the presentation might vary too, depending on your potential market, young guys or old school (like me).

if you want a head or face, why not go with the jackal god himself?

This is ok except that is Tutankhamen.

Too Close to Empty Tomb Choppers. While ETC is cool it is not the realm I had hoped for.

Those look like crazy fun  ;D

if you want a head or face, why not go with the jackal god himself?

This is exactly where I will be going. I guess I will have to draw one myself. Let's see how it turns out.  8)
Keep'em coming guys I like the ideas.  ;D ;D

The great realm of R&D... Will work on another one with the true to history Anubis "Jackyl" head.. When I get her worked out I'll post it here.

Thats better.  But what about a staight on bust version of Anubis wearing the traditional pharoh headress with the cobra on top.  Black with white hightlight like you have now.  Nice work by the way.  I mostly do pencil/charcoal, sometimes black paper w/white pencil.  Never got into the computerized art otherwise Id send you and example.

CBJUNKIE----->
Great minds do think alike. You, Metalhead550 , and myself should start a gang.
Call ourselves the " Hell Satans "
 ;D

ELCHEAPO----------->
I think you are on the right track, maybe a "sketch" of the head will look better , less blocky for better words. Maybe just an outline
of an Anubis looking head might be the trick ? Sometimes less is more when it comes to graphics/logo's, etc... PLUS, a simple
graphic/logo eaquals low cost t-shirts, stickers, etc down the road..... ;D

Yeah, I was thinking you need to keep it simple for embroidery reasons.  I'd like a little tweaking of the head so it looks less like a hand-shadow puppet.  Since he's a messenger to heaven, might it be symbolic heresy to make his ears look a bit like wings?

I would do a outline of a head on view of a "angry" Anubis.
That would look good...
