Justt trying to keep things in perspective.
I dont think windows is a much better operating system than mac is.
Machine wise though a pc is better as you buy the mac how apple thinks it should be not how you really want it. You can do almost anything you want with a pc, hardware wise.
Mac really got a bad name for this in the 90s. They would build a computer with certain hardware one week and the next week hardware changes would be made. Apple would always put in the cheapest components. While most manufactures do that, the mac os disk would only work on a computer with your EXACT hardware.
Say I got one and you did and the only diff was the modem. The os disk would not load on your computer properly because of that one thing. This is a huge pain in the ass for people who have to work on macs.
I dont care what a person uses, I use a pc though cause I build my own computers. I would not mind linux but the driver base is not very good. I would hate to have to be constantly writing drivers for hardware and having to modify software script to use programs!
I will say that vista does appear to be very exceptional though much better than even Xp is now.
