any owners of Cairn Terriers here?

a good friend of mine is in end stages of cancer and has asked me to take her dog and cat. i wouldnt ever dream of saying no, but if anyone here has one, what can i expect? i imagine this is a pretty well trained little barker as all her dogs have been. the cat......26 pound Maine Coon cat. the kitty was one of 3 kittens born to a barn cat i had 5 or 6 years ago.

My daughter has one, looks just like Toto.  I generally don't like small dogs, but he is tolerable.  Smart and alert, not yappy or high strung.  At a year and a half old, he is very playful, full of piss and vinegar.

theyre cute as hell thats for sure. i really and truly wish that i wasnt going to be getting 2 new animals, i'd rather have my friend then the critters, but thats what happens sometimes.
