ummm i hope you didnt drop your bike because of some dog sh*t... that would suck!!! but it doesn't seem like it would go down, unless the proposed poo was of a particularly slippery variety.

no duh, click the link and look at what happened to R550 today. it's your thread.  ;D

I used it in a short film today a friend and I are shooting.
You guys aren't going to believe this.  I had to ride the bike from start to stop maybe 50 feet, throw the kickstand down and hop off the bike.  We shot it once and said lets do it again for the sake of havin the shot.  I did it again except this time about 30 feet in my front tire went squirrely, ended up goin out from underneth.  I wasn't going very fast at all so I was able to hop off and set the bike down fairly soft, well comparably.  Busted my break leaver but I replaced that within a half hour.  Here's the great part.  When we got the bike back up I looked at everyone and said, "that was weird!  Did I hit a patch of oil???"  Buddy of mine points down at the front tire and says, "no you slipped on sh*t!"  Big chunk of dog #$%* was smeared on front tire. :(
Honestly, it was pretty god damn funny.

So I guess today, I replaced my break leaver because of sh*t.
Thanks a lot sh*t. ;D

P.S. Bike is just fine.

In all seriousness, if it's possible right now, I don't know for sure if it was the crap or not.  It's been raining for days, everything's wet, could've been some oil on the ground.  Who knows???  BUT, there was sh*t on my front tire, a lot of it ::)

 :D :D :D

There are soo many variables, did the dog eat dry food or canned food? Was the dog a shepherd or a collie? How many pounds of pressure was applied to the brake lever? How much did the bike weigh? Was the turd on concrete or asphalt? What was the ambient temperature? Were they #$%*ty tires in the first place?

Did you get skid marks in your shorts too? ;D

I don't know if I mentioned this earlier, I was riding on old wet cobble stone......looking back, I was totally asking for it.  Also, I'm not convinced anymore that it was the dog sh*t that sent my wheel out, we'd been filming in same area for about an hour, I only had to ride about 50 ft and I'd tracked my path really well before moving.  I would've seen a pile of doo had it been there. Crap must've come from another part of the block/side of the road while I was turning/riding around.

Who's to say though, the doodoo might have contributed to the bike's demise!

so it was just dumb luck. ;D
my friend high-sided coming into his driveway because of some loose sand that's always there. never did it before, never did it again. cracked his lower right fairing all to poop. then we bought one on ebay for like 400+ and the guy cancelled his ebay account, wiped his payal, and never shipped the part.

good times.
