I was trying to remember the name of this movie.  I had only seen it once when it came out years ago, great film.  Thanks.

Great rider.
Was he holding a cable?
Both feet down only?
Nerve racking on a big tall dual sport, f-650 scary!

Edit:  'Bout forgot to answer the questions, quite possibly, not sure why though.   ;D

I think if I had no choice but to take my bike across that bridge I'd probably do it at a much faster pace than that guy did it.  I'm not saying I'd race across it, but I'd feel a lot more confident and in control at about 15mph than babying it across like that.  Both feet on the pegs and looking straight ahead at the other end of the bridge, rather than waddling it across and taking the risk of losing my footing and dumping it.

I think the hardest part, as long as the bridge held, would be not letting the water moving under you screw up your sense of balance and motion.  It would be really hard not to instinctively lean to the left to counteract the fact that your eyes would be telling you that you're moving to the right.

Okay, now I'm getting sick just thinking about it. :-X

I think I see the remnants of the bridge engineers earlier failed effort on the left.  :o

If I saw somebody cross successfully with a larger load like a mule or a cow I might consider it with some other bike, but not with my CB.

I was thinking that too.
I also thought I'd go at a slow riding pace, 'til I saw how much the bridge was swaying as well, not to mention the optical illusion of the water rushing underneath you.

Well Ok since you have called me out. I may under certain circumstances:

1. If I were being chased by flesh eating Zombies.
2. If  I had to deliver a life saving Vacine to a remote village.
3. If Angelina Jolie and Meagan Fox were standing on the othewr side and it was a slam dunk I could have them both.

Back in the day we knocked down bridges that looked like that by dropping sandbags on them. Never took more that two direct hits to bring them down.
