Newbie / "Motorcyclist" and "Rider" helmet tests
« on: December 29, 2005, 05:14:01 PM »
Hi guys,

I'm a newbie to the group, and while I have a nice '83 VF750F I'm ridng and slowly getting back to new, I am looking for a nice K2 or K3. I'm in central Victoria, Australia, so if you see anything good please let me know.

I'm also a member of the yahoo CB750 group, and one of the members put up a link to an article on helmet tests by "Motorcyclist" magazine.

Here it is:
http://motorcyclistonline.com/gearbox/hatz/

A very well researched and detailed article which showed that some of the cheaper helmets fared very, very well in simulated tests.

I also found a recent test in "Rider" magazine:
http://www.mcleodaccessories.com.au/promo/other/ride_helmet_test_2005.pdf

Hope these are of some interest over the break (if you're lucky enough to have one!).

Cheers,

Neil.
Victoria, Australia.

Welcome to the board.
Sorry not to much help over here.
Get with Terry on the board. They all might be in his garage  LOL  :)
He should be able to help out or steer you in the right direction.
