much more of your descriptions.

Have you made the pics at the race track of Oschersleben or at Spa?

The pictures are made in Spa in 2008.
This year I rode there with my 820 Honda.

Howell, You are running a XL 250 rear wheel? Did you find it quite heavy? i have one here (may be xL 350) and am surprised at how much it weighs.. Just wondering about  why you chose that.

It is a hub that is also used in the Honda XR250, XL500S,XR500,XL600 and XR350 in the eightees.
I chose it just because of its weight , with axle only 4,6 kg.
And I also use a very light alu Afam sprocket

We have in front a 1.85 x 18 rim and at the rear a 2.50 X 18.
We have the intention to go for the Avon AM20 90/90-18 and a AM23 cantilever 130/65-18.

I saw and heard that the Dunlops are not so good in the rain.
And in Holland we have many times rain.
So we go for the Avons , a friend of us can deliver them for a good prise.

We gonna use this ignition on the racer, I also use it on my CB750 streetbikes.

We get the power from a lipo battery from 14,8V and 4000MAh and use 3 ohm Bol d'Or coils.

In Holland they cost about 600 euro both.
Our friend can deliver them for:
AM20 € 148,00
AM23 € 154,00
And for each tyre E.7,50 transport

Tga is english but the man lives in the northern of France , he is the organisator of the IHRO races.

I noticed you mentioning going to use the elz2coil for the racer. (thanks for the advertisement  ).

Mind that if you will use three Ohm coils you will need another rotor than standard supplied. I will have to order this ignition on customer order, so please be in time (before season starts).

these are good prices indeed but you always have to wonder how can these tires be cheaper in the usa AFTER crossing the Atlantic......

very nice bike, is it a 500? do you actually race it in germany? some technical details about it would be nice.....

have to agree with howell, some components there would be too modern to be accepted in classic racing here in italy too.

I do like the fairing though! where is it from?

what is the story with your clutch cover? it looks like a 650 cover, but you obviously have a kickstart..

Hallo Heinz,

I found already a picture of your complete bike, very nice but to modern for real classic racing.

I will agree with both of you. Some components are too near to the younger times. Here in germany i couldn´t go to the VfV (Verband für Veteranen) events because their rules might be similar to your rules in the netherlands or in italy. I race at the "Grab the Flag" events. Their rules aren´t so rigorous. We have to use 18" wheels and the calipers must be one or two pistons, the two pistons have to be in opposite. Like the old Lockheeds. The first appearance of a bike could be up to 1978. Japanese 4-valve engines are not allowed. That are some points of their rules.
In my class the fours have max. 600 ccm, twins and triples are allowed to have max. 750 ccm. And all together are allowed an upgrade about 3% for services.

And then there is an other organizer in gemany, "Art Motor", where i could race with my bike. But their rules are much more unrestricted. Bikes could be newer and so on.

Fairing is designed and build by my self, also the seat and some other plastics.

I think i should go for a new thread where i could discribe some tech specs and so on. There i will also reply Paulages question. My engine is in some specs similar to the works of Paulage and Soos, and perhaps some others.
