I will agree with both of you. Some components are too near to the younger times. Here in germany i couldn´t go to the VfV (Verband für Veteranen) events because their rules might be similar to your rules in the netherlands or in italy. I race at the "Grab the Flag" events. And then there is an other organizer in gemany, "Art Motor", where i could race with my bike. But their rules are much more unrestricted. Bikes could be newer and so on.

I do like the fairing though! where is it from?

Fairing is designed and build by my self, also the seat and some other plastics.

I think i should go for a new thread where i could discribe some tech specs and so on. There i will also reply Paulages question. My engine is in some specs similar to the works of Paulage and Soos, and perhaps some others.

Would be interested in the fairing, even if its way too long for me now, i wouold be hitting my knees on the rear edge!

Can you fit your legs behind the fairing? how tall are you?

Hi TG!

It fits really good to me. I have made it so that it must fit to me.
Look at the pics below.
Both pics are made in Schleiz 2006 during my race. First shows a typical kompetitor. The guy who rides that GUZZI
is a really nice one and we get on well together. He was in this season my nearest kompetitor but in this race
i was something around 30 seconds in front of him.

At the end of the season he was 2 points in front of me.

He made the third place and i the fourth.
Second pic allows you a closer look.
Your question about my tallness: Please don´t hit me, i think its similar to the older italians

. I have a hight of 160 cm.

And now serious !

About my 500 racer , I got a email from Ellis Moore that the gearbox is ready tomorrow.
I hope I receive it for the weekend so that the engine can build up completely.
The frame is now totally dismantled from all the parts and ready for spraying.
Now I am filling and sanding the tank ,seat, fairing and frontmudguard,not my most favourit job.
This several times so that the surface is real smooth for spraying.
I hope to finish it next week.

Today I sprayed the frame.
For the sanding and spraying I have made a plastic tent in my garage,otherwise it becomes a mess.

It does look good Howell. Those large engagement blocks look indestructable, good work by Ellis.

By the way I got an e-mail from him yesterday that mine is also complete & ready to ship......wahooo.
