Help Identifying 750 lower end- never mind.

I have this mostly complete 750 lower end. Is there any way to identify if this was a K or an F engine without taking it apart?
From the serial number all I can tell is it's probably a '75 or '76.  Thanks.

Looks to me like I can see a letter E stamped after the CB 750.  That would make that it a K engine.
