Gotta tell ya, I've heard about how the 650 was like an underdog or something (or the SOHC4 family) for some time now. Now, I don't understand how ANYONE can look at THIS 650 of pae's and STILL think THAT way! I mean, LOOK AT IT! That is one FINE LOOKING ride Now! 8) ;)
Thanks for Looking, Now VOTE! ;)

Wow...all such nice bikes...a really hard decision with no choppers/bobbers to instantly disqualify!  ;)

I gotta give the nod to Gorms...every time I see the pics of his bike it blows me away. Very jealous!

Thanks phifer!  I really put my heart and soul into this bike and its exactly how I want it.  I learned so much.  Regardless of who wins, I am honored just to be in the running.  All these bikes are great!

I've been following Squirley’s build from the beginning and he has poured his passion into it and built a lot of one-off custom stuff.

Good luck Squirley

I have to agree. While all the bikes are stunning, it's a shame that the pic does not do Squirley's bike justice. Aside from the vintage pipes, there are no "bolt-on" parts on his bike...the tank, seat, swing-arm, forks, etc. are either custom one-offs or have been heavily modified. I watched this bike transform over time. My vote goes to him. Good work, kid!

I agree with Khiddy... SQ's bike is tweaked and work in every way.. It was his bike that I stumbled upon on youtube.. and got me back into CB's after my crash... I never thought i would get back on a bike after that day... but it's SQ's bike that has refuelled my tank to giver another go!

All these bike are exceptional in their ways.. you all did great, built some true pieces of art...

Venturous.. your thread touched so many of us on this site.. you and your families support, involvement and dedication kept me glued and craving for more..It was like watching a tear jerkin Chic-flic (you know the one.. that we don't wanna see.. but get suckered into watching with our wives/girlfriends.. and end up getting that lump in your throat during a sappy sence...and end up liking the movie.. LOL)
well..hats off to you and your boys.. you all awt to be proud!!

hats off to Gorms as well.. that bike looks like if Honda made a Cafe' of that era.. that would be front and centre..show room floor.. clean.. smart.. fast! props to you too sir!

well.. thats my take... lol

Congrats Squirley!

All of you stayed perty much neck and neck all the way through.  I got to wonderin' if there were gonna a tie or even a trie.  Don't think we ever had a tie before.

Even though we have one winner, YOUR BIKES ARE ALL WINNERS!  Note that the other bikes can be nominated again.  The BOTM winner is a BOTM contender for that time only, never again in a BOTM.  But, Squirley will be the first bike listed in BOTY.

This has been one messed up thread.  Kept setting to hide the votes, it would unhide itself.  Kept trying to set the end date for the 6th and it kept showing the 7th.  On its own it now stops on the 6th.  Ghosts in the machine!!!!!

I'll wrastle up the next one soon.

I would like to say thank you very much to all.  I appreciate the nomination and the votes.  On that note, I received more than one message asking me to put up better pics, and I must admit, the pics here are pretty darn sucky.  So, TipperT, can I email you some better ones, when I post on here, i have to reduce them like crazy and they get blurry.

Thanks again

Jens

Can you not just upload them to photobucket or something like that and link them within the bb code?  It should bring them down to size automatically.

Somthing like [img width=600] and then close it.  By default, when you create a post, it puts that stuff in there but not the width=600 part.  Manually incude that and you will be fine.

Hey, lest we all forget my nomination? Were it not for me, you all would not have even had Squirley to vote for... You're welcome.

Also, I think the other competitors deserve congratulations as well, I would be honored to own any one of these vehicles.
