This is pretty close to me.

What do you think?

I've known of these for a while but I don't know much about them - other than they look cool...

"strong and tight" even though the muffler baffle is falling out and the seat is duct taped.
I wouldn't pay 2500, not even close.  Looks pretty neglected, typical ride it hard and put it away wet kind of neglected.

x2 - that girl has been touched inappropriately.  If only people looked at NADA before dreaming up prices.  I see lots of decent stuff on CL in SanFran, hold out for something a little more cherry Grumpy.

Good low miles examples go for $5K plus.  I know because I've had 2 of them.  I sold the first one because it is a purpose-built bike and is quite small.  After 30 miles I was cramping.  I got the second because I thought (hoped) I was somehow wrong.  Wrong is right- couldn't take it.

They are bullet proof bikes that handle like a dream.  They are way more than good looks.  But- you have to be way younger and more flexible than me.

This bike looks like crap.  Maybe it's just cosmetics?  If so, that's an OK price.  If you look and it has even the slightest question come up, then $2500 is too much.  These are very rare bikes- a double-edged sword.  They're worth more for a few people, so sellers ask more.

Yeah I thought it looked a bit hammered but I know these can bring a relatively large amount of money. Didn't know what a beat one would be worth... Are parts avail for these?

When I look at those pictures I see a very oxidized motor, every spoke rusted, nasty seat, total crap for a headers and muffler.
I'm sure there's more wrong than meets the eye... looks to have been "sitting" like he said, possibly in the ocean.

Body parts, not so much.  Actually, I was surprised to see the seat cowl looks to be in good shape;  many times owners over-tighten that big-headed screw and break the cowl.
Otherwise, I used Hi-Flo oil filters and the parts are just all Honda.  It's not a rare engine.
There's a pretty good GB500 Group on Yahoo.
