       I hear ya! I have had 2 of these over the years myself. The first one was the most memorable though. It was red with the 383 4 barrel, 4 speed and Sure Grip (posi, for those who don't know). Was pure stock, but was a great runner! No A/C, no power brakes, no power steering, Just the power of that 383! ;) Like to have THIS one myself, but I am content to be looking at the 69' GTX sitting in my Driveway. 8) Not Bragging mind you, just content! ;)

Nice I understand, personally I believe you should be bragging.. You earned it... As for me I had a 1969 camaro ss with 327 and mostly stock every place.. Nice ride tho, until my girlfriend at the time totalled it. Then I had a 1980 Camaro RS with 4 speed, no air, no power brakes, just power steering, I put in a 350 4-bolt balanced and blueprinted motor and a Corvette rear end. It was nice 2 tone paint it was a sweet car.. then divorce caused me to sell it and I have never gotten back to cars other then pure transportation.. I miss it but just have not had the money.

  Exactly! ::) I had one that was RED and missed it just as soon as I traded it off for the 69' road runner. Of course there is a story behind MY trade, that most all of you know and I won't go into THAT.

           Thank you for THAT. I just am not a bragging person. At times it may seem that I am, but I am just proud to be able to get whatever I can. And, in this case, the GTX fills a very special need that I have and that IS cool to me. ;)

           I can appreciate YOUR feeling about that Camaro, I have wanted to get another one for so long AND just couldn't swing it for so long. So, yes, I surely understand YOUR position. Maybe some day, things will work out so you can once again have a car like that, to be able to cruise in and enjoy. ;)

tisk, tisk, tisk, and a finger wag.
header, glasspack, glasspack, auto parts store bend, and a few sections of flex pipe???
  and it's all 2/14'' poor car can hardly breathe.
