Check Your Memory

Okay, I've got 4 bikes that I'd like to see who all can remember who these bikes belonged to: (Now, if you own any of these bikes, please hold your tongue)

I remember seeing the green bike being advertised on ebay from a custom cafe builder I think.

The Green 750 belonged to a member here, who hasn't been very active here in a bit. Really nice guy as well, I might add. ;)

    Pretty sharp bike too! 8)

Yep, THAT was Kghost's very own Wing. I was so taken by the look of that bike, that I put it in for BOTM once. I was very nicely reminded that it was only for SOHC4's. ::)

Okay, 3 have been identified. But, what about the 1st one. Is there anyone who knows who that bike belonged to? He was AND still is a member here. I put it in for BOTM once, but unfortunately, it didn't win. I thought it was a choice looking bike myself AND he put a lot of work into it.

So, how much longer should I let this go, before telling who's bike this was? I was sure that there would be someone who would remember. Or should I give some clues?

Ha! Ha! :D  Mike, I seem to be LOSING MINE and thought, if I did this, it MIGHT help me to regain some. ::) ;D

Hey, 3 out of 4 have been named, that's pretty good, eh? :)

Well, just to show that I DO remember something, the last one belonged to

             KCs76cafe

As I remember, He bought it from a coworker pretty cheaply, brought it home, fixed it up (it was pretty sad looking) and caught a lot of comments (all in fun) about not having a seat pad on it. :D I put it in for the BOTM, but competition was rough and it didn't make it. He ended up selling it some time later on. So, that's it. I had those four pictures saved and thought I'd see if folks could remember whose they were. I figured that kghost's Wing and KCs would be the hardest.

                                         Take care, Bill ;)

Here Are some more shots of it. great Build! 8) I contacted him a while back and asked for some photos of his build, cause I was (and still might) build one of my own. The tail piece is from a Sportster gas tank AND has the electrics and battery in there. Notice that the area between the rear wheel and the carbs, is empty. Nice clean look, huh? ;)

thanks for posting the pics. I've been following the Motorcycle Classics CB500 Cafe build but i like the look of THIS bike alot more. that seat is sharp. who makes that exhaust? I'm working on a minor cosmetic restore of my CB500, after looking at this bike I'm starting to get some wild ideas.... ;D
